The Role Registered Manager of a 4-bedded EBD childrens home Overall responsibility for the safe and effective running of the service Ensure full compliance with Childrens Homes Regulations and Ofsted standards Lead, manage, and develop a dedicated residential staff team Oversee safeguarding, care planning, and risk management processes Maintain high standards of care and positive outcomes for young people Manage rotas, staffing levels, budgets, and operational performance Build strong relationships with external professionals and agencies Drive continuous improvement and maintain GOOD Ofsted rating
The Person Applying Must hold a full UK driving licence (essential car driver required) Proven experience as a Registered Manager or strong Deputy Manager ready to step up Background in childrens residential care, ideally EBD Strong knowledge of safeguarding and regulatory frameworks Confident and capable leader with staff management experience Calm, resilient, and able to manage challenging situations effectively Passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people Strong organisational, communication, and decision-making skills Committed to delivering a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment
