- Perform first‑off inspections by conducting detailed visual and dimensional checks on the initial unit of each batch.
- Reference technical drawings, work instructions and quality standards to verify compliance.
- Validate component placement, solder quality, torque settings and any critical or customer‑specified features.
- Accurately complete and maintain inspection records using FOI checklists, batch documentation or digital quality systems.
- Communicate inspection results clearly to production teams and escalates non‑conformances immediately.
- Work closely with Quality, Engineering and Production Team Leaders to resolve issues before batch sign‑off.
- Ensure all inspection activities are traceable and documented in real time to meet audit and regulatory requirements.
- Support continuous improvement by identifying repeat FOI issues and contributing to corrective actions and quality initiatives.
- Previous experience in manufacturing or quality inspection (electronic/mechanical assembly preferred).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and work instructions.
- Proficient in the use of hand measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
- Familiarity with visual inspection criteria for soldering, component alignment or assembly quality.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality standards.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 or other quality management systems is desirable.
