Salary: £30,000 - £38,000 per annum. Days:
Monday to Friday. Benefits:
Day shifts, training, private health insurance, 26 days holiday (plus Bank Holidays).

Location:

Bedford (commutable from Kettering, Cambridge, Northampton, Luton, Milton Keynes).

Excellent opportunity for a Production Engineer to join a specialist engineering company during an exciting period of growth. The role involves bridging design and manufacturing, ensuring project delivery on time, cost, and quality standards within a world‑class facility.

• Own and populate D&M pricing documents during bid phase.
• Contribute to project schedules and define manufacturing methods through route cards.
• Manage subcontract RFQs and ensure parts progress smoothly through the Model Manufacture Centre (MMC).
• Collaborate with design, project delivery, and production teams to ensure efficient transition from bid to production.
• Handle production planning, design for manufacture (D4M), and subcontract management.

• Production Planner or Production Engineer experience, ideally stepping away from a hands‑on role.
• ONC/HNC (or equivalent) in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Production Engineering.
• Strong understanding of production methods.
• Ability to meet security clearance requirements (5 years of continual UK residency).
