Location: Near Milton Keynes
Hours: Monday to Friday 7.30am – 4pm (overtime available)
Salary: £38000 - £45000

We are now looking for a skilled CNC Miller Programmer to join our growing team and contribute to our continued success.
Role OverviewThe CNC Miller Programmer will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating Vertical & Horizontal Machining Centres to produce precision‑engineered components to tight tolerances. You will work across our wide range of machines, programming with Fanuc and similar controls.

- Program, set, and operate sliding head and fixed head CNC lathes
. - Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings and specifications.
- Select appropriate tooling and machining strategies for efficient production.
- Produce precision components to tight tolerances and within quality standards.
- Carry out first‑off inspections using precision measuring equipment.
- Optimise CNC programs and setups to improve cycle times and reduce waste.
- Work collaboratively with production staff to meet deadlines and customer requirements.
- Maintain machines, tooling, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
- Proven experience programming and setting machining centres
. - Strong knowledge of Fanuc controls (or similar).
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
- Skilled in the use of precision measuring instruments.
- Experience producing small to medium batch quantities.
- High attention to detail and strong problem‑solving skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of CAD/CAM software (Edgecam, Fusion 360, etc.).
- Understanding of Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
