Hours:

Monday to Friday, 6am start, job and finish (ongoing agency work)

Are you looking for reliable work, early starts and a role that keeps you active? We are recruiting on behalf of the local council's waste management department for Refuse Loaders to join their hardworking team in Bedford.

• Collecting household waste and recycling across Bedford
• Working as part of a close knit team of refuse loaders and drivers
• Handling bins, bags and containers safely and efficiently
• Supporting the smooth running of daily waste management operations

• Good physical health and fitness, as this is a physically demanding role
• Team players with a positive attitude and willingness to work outdoors

• Regular weekday work, with early finishes once the round is complete
• Ongoing agency work with potential for longer term opportunities

This role could suit candidates who have previously worked as a Refuse Loader, Bin Loader, Waste Operative, Recycling Operative, Environmental Operative, Street Cleansing Operative, Waste Collection Operative, Recycling Loader, General Labourer or Collections Operative. If you have experience in any physically active outdoor role, we'd love to hear from you.
