Communications & Public Affairs Officer

Communications & Public Affairs Officer needed in Dudley Paying £200 per day  Full time hours on a temporary basis

Key Responsibilities Support the development and delivery of the corporate communications strategy. Plan and deliver integrated communications campaigns across multiple channels. Produce high-quality content for internal and external audiences, including press releases, briefings, newsletters, reports, presentations, web content, and social media. Manage relationships with media representatives and respond to media enquiries. Promote and protect the reputation through proactive communications activity. Provide communications advice and support to senior officers, councillors, and service managers.

Support public affairs and stakeholder engagement activity across the organisation. Monitor media coverage, campaign effectiveness, and stakeholder feedback, producing reports and recommendations. Lead or support communications responses during high-profile, sensitive, or crisis situations. Ensure all communications are accessible and comply with branding guidelines.
