The Spit Jack is one of Ireland’s top rotisserie brasseries, known for our commitment to quality, innovation, and exceptional hospitality. Located in the heart of Limerick City, we serve up incredible food, artisan coffee, and signature cocktails in a vibrant, fast‑paced setting.

We’re now on the lookout for a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender / Barista to join our team behind the bar — someone who knows their flat whites from their espresso martinis and takes pride in every pour.

You’ll be at the heart of our guest experience, crafting everything from perfect coffees to premium cocktails with speed, style, and a smile.

• Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages to a high standard (coffee, cocktails, soft drinks)
• Engage with customers and provide friendly, attentive service
• Manage bar stock, cleanliness, and presentation
• Work efficiently during busy brunch, lunch, and dinner service
• Follow all food safety and hygiene procedures
• Support the floor team when needed and work as part of a tight‑knit crew

• Experience in a bar or café environment (barista and/or bartender)
• Knowledge of coffee machines and cocktail basics is a big plus
• A love for great drinks and great service
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• A team player who thrives in a fast‑paced setting
