As a Business Development Executive, you will develop sales and bid opportunities across the South, grow and maintain a robust sales pipeline, coordinate with project and operations teams, and manage client visits.
Salary: base up to £32,000 per annum plus car, commission scheme and Veolia benefits
Hours: 40 hours per week, Mon - Fri
Location: Mobile across Stewartby and Milton Keynes

- Attend appointments promptly
- Report directly to the Business Manager
- Prepare progress reports and daily movement updates
- Collaborate with colleagues to make strategic decisions
- Empower yourself to make sales decisions and target clients
- Engage with clients and conduct on‑site consultations to assess project requirements
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety policies and maintain fleet compliance
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to support growth
- Support business plan development and regional succession planning
- Participate in emergency response duty rota, including night shift work
- Prepare and deliver presentations on the business service line
- Prepare quotations and proposal documents using the provided format
- Use the costing matrix and rate card to prepare estimations based on time
- Manage your own expenses, travel and accommodation
- Establish and develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external customers
- Proficient understanding of industrial cleaning technologies and waste management across the Southern region
- Ability to present to internal and external stakeholders and attend seminars or open days
- Adherence to established processes and procedures
- Represent the company's products, image, reputation, and achievements effectively
- Strong communication skills and good teamwork
- Ability to learn new skills and technologies
- Presentation preparation and delivery at all levels
- Continuous training on sales techniques, product knowledge, and market trends
- Confidence and clarity in communication
