Sales Coordinator / Internal Customer Service Bedford - Full-time | Office-Based £24,785 basic salary + Monthly Commission + Annual Company Bonus

We're partnering with a well-established UK distributor to recruit a Sales Coordinator to join their busy Internal Sales team based in Bedford.

About The Role:Despite the job title, this is not a high-pressure sales role. Instead, you'll become a trusted point of contact for customers, supporting them throughout the ordering process, resolving queries, managing quotations and ensuring every interaction delivers an exceptional customer experience.
Working alongside a friendly and collaborative team, you'll manage a portfolio of key customers while also supporting a shared inbox, helping process thousands of customer orders each month.

What You'll Be Doing:- Managing inbound customer enquiries via telephone and email
- Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Producing quotations and managing order amendments
- Supporting your own portfolio of key customer accounts
- Resolving delivery, invoice and product queries
- Building long-term customer relationships
- Identifying natural upselling opportunities where appropriate
- Working closely with colleagues to ensure excellent customer service
- Developing technical product knowledge through structured training
We're looking for attitude and potential just as much as experience.
You will ideally have experience in:
- Customer Service
- Internal Sales
- Order Processing
- Account Coordination
- Customer Success
- Administration within a customer-facing environment
You will also have:
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
- High attention to detail
- Confidence managing customer enquiries by phone and email
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM/order management systems
Industry experience is beneficial but absolutely not essential. Full product training will be provided.
