Sales Support Assistant

Role Summary

Sales Support Assistant (Temp to Perm) – Bedford – Full Time, 39.5 hours per week. Salary £16.00 per hour (£33,000 per annum). This position starts as a temporary contract with the possibility of permanent employment after a successful probationary period.

• Speak with customers by phone and email
• Prepare and follow up on quotations
• Process customer orders accurately, up to 90 per day once trained
• Manage customer accounts and build relationships
• Liaise with UK and European suppliers
• Chase outstanding quotations and opportunities
• Upsell additional products where appropriate
• Keep customer records up to date
• Support the wider sales team

• Previous experience in Sales Support, Sales Administration or Customer Service
• Enjoys speaking to people and building relationships
• Curious and able to understand customers' needs
• Confident working in a busy, fast‑paced environment
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Positive, proactive and a team player

• £16.00 per hour (£33,000 equivalent)
