Position
We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Social Worker or Youth Justice Practitioner to join our Youth Justice Service and play a key role in supporting children, young people, and families to achieve positive outcomes.
Responsibilities- Manage staff who hold complex caseloads requiring high levels of professional oversight, judgement, autonomy, and exemplary practice.
- Support the Team Manager in supervising staff, mentoring less experienced practitioners, and leading on safeguarding and risk management within the Youth Justice Service.
- Help achieve positive outcomes for children, young people, and families.
- The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
- Applicants must be able to declare any spent and unspent convictions and adult cautions that are not protected.
