About

The Role

You will manage temporary accommodation placements across the borough, ensuring properties are safe, suitable, and well maintained. A key focus of the role is working closely with customers to help them understand and comply with licence or tenancy conditions, enabling them to sustain their accommodation and avoid homelessness.

You will manage a varied caseload, including high-risk and complex cases, using a balanced approach that combines supportive intervention with proportionate enforcement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage placements and support customers at risk of eviction
  • Work with providers to resolve property issues and ensure standards are met
  • Undertake inspections, welfare checks, and respond to tenancy breaches
  • Address anti-social behaviour and take appropriate action in line with policy
  • Maintain accurate records in line with audit and data protection requirements
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to manage risk and support customers
Partnership Working

You Will Work Closely With

  • Adult Social Care
  • Mental Health Services
  • Community Safety and ASB teams
  • Environmental Health
  • Police and safeguarding partners
