Introduction

We are currently seeking an experienced Logistics & Export Specialist to join our reputable client.

Over the past 20 years, our client has grown steadily to become one of the industry’s most respected providers, specialising in the development, manufacture, assembly, and marketing of scientific devices for laboratory analysis, factory process control, and on-site mobile analysis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and skilled Logistics & Export Specialist to take ownership of transport and export activities within a friendly and supportive team. The company is committed to developing its employees and offers ongoing opportunities to grow both new and existing skills.

Key Responsibilities

* Create order confirmations and relevant commercial documentation for domestic and international shipments.

* Ensure Dangerous Goods documentation is completed accurately and that goods are labelled in compliance with regulations.

* Liaise with freight forwarders and transport partners for all import and export shipments.

* Work with the Chamber of Commerce to produce required export documentation.

* Complete end-user checks for applicable shipments.

* Prepare shipment documentation, including commercial invoices.

* Manage Letters of Credit and Cash Against Documents payments when required.

* Liaise with the German head office and warehouse regarding imports and drop-shipments.

* Maintain accurate shipment records within the company CRM system.

* Carry out other general transport and logistics duties as required.
