Earnings: From £22.41 up to £49.61ph

Join Gi Group supporting one of the UK’s biggest supermarkets, as a Class 1 Early AM Driver. This isn't just seasonal help; we are looking for professional drivers for a long-term partnership client in Bedford. You will play a vital role in keeping the nation fed by delivering to stores and petrol stations across the region.

• Chilled & frozen loads, mostly stored in cages but some cases may be pallets
• 1-3 store deliveries , this can be to supermarkets or petrol station stores
• Drivers must be flexible to operate Class 1 and Class 2 vehicles (always paid at Class 1 rate)
• Conducting thorough vehicle checks and maintaining accurate digital tachograph records.
• Drivers must drive as per client's professional standards which you will be coached and trained on
• Ability to manage your Working Time Directive, and Driving Hours rules and Regulations in order to meet compliance expectations, and avoid infringement
• Acting as a professional face of the brand when arriving at stores

• Daily and Weekly Bookings
• Available start time windows : 01:00 am - 03:00 am
• Minimum 1 weekend day availability is a must
• Weekend only work available
• Full time and part time opportunities

• Automatic pay rises at 12 and 27 weeks
• Double pay on Bank Holidays (up to £49.61ph)
• Increased holiday entitlement once first 12 weeks is completed
• Overtime after 45 hours, paid on weekly basis
• Paid Breaks from Day 1
• Monthly Performance Bonus

• Valid UK Driver Cards (Driving Licence, CPC and DIGI Cards)
• Minimum 6 months Class 1 licence + 6 months Class 1 driving experience
• Previous experience in store deliveries would be preferred, but is not essential
• Max 6 penalty points accepted for minor offences (no DR or DD offences)
• Availability to work weekends is essential for this 24/7 operation
• Will have the ability to demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills, as well as an attention to detail

• Tuesday 9th June 06:00 am & 11:00 am
• Thursday 11th June 06:00 am & 11:00 am
• Thursday 25th June 06:00 am, 11:00am and 15:00
