Availability

Minimum 16 guaranteed hours per week, with flexibility down to 12 hours. You will be scheduled within the company’s delivery windows; availability during those times is essential.

Rate of pay starts at £14.18 per hour, rising to £15.45 for deliveries inside the M25. Additional payments may apply based on location.

As the face of Tesco on the road, you will deliver groceries to customers’ homes, ensuring a friendly and professional experience.

• Keep the van and trays clean and organized.
• Maintain a tidy and litter‑free rear area.
• Wash trays as part of the tray wash process.
• Load the van and check for roadworthiness.
• Communicate with customers about order changes, short codes, substitutions, and refunds.
• Treat all products and deliveries with care.
• Ensure customers are not overcharged for substitutions.
• Deliver within the customer’s specified time slot.
• Call the customer before arrival if arriving early.
• Notify the store if running 30 or more minutes late.
• Build relationships with colleagues to foster team spirit.
• Provide warm, welcoming interactions with customers.
• Respond quickly to changing customer needs and embrace change.
• Operate energetically and drive beyond expectations, balancing home and work.
• Share improvement ideas with managers and teammates.

• Valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence (Full or Automatic) with no more than 3 penalty points, held for at least 12 months.
