Counterbalance​/Warehouse Operative

The Best Connection are recruiting for a Counterbalance/Reach Truck Operative for one of our established clients in Bedford. This is a great on-going/temp to perm position to join a great company and a friendly team. Candidates MUST have an accredited in-date Counterblance or Reach Truck Fork Lift licence.

Hours are Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 17:30hrs, pay rate is £14 per hour - weekends may be required according to the needs of the business.

• Picking, packing and loading of goods, ready for dispatch
• Ensuring the smooth dispatch & accurate and timely loading of vehicles
• Report any issues
• Follow quality service standards & comply with company procedures & policies
• Work collaboratively with the warehouse team, following health and safety protocol at all times

• Must have current, valid reach truck/Counterbalance Forklift truck licence
• Proven working experience as a warehouse operative
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems
• Good organisational & time management skills
• Manual Handling/Ability to lift heavy objects up to 25kg
• Strong communication skills for both internal and external stakeholders
• IT literate
• Attention to detail
