Class 1 Driver Opportunity

Join Gi Group supporting our client based in Marston Gate, as a Class 1 Trunk Driver. This isn't just seasonal help; we are looking for professional drivers for a long-term partnership.

Role & Responsibilities :

Parcel & Mail Bulk Loads
Trunking Work, minimum manual handling
Conducting thorough vehicle checks and maintaining accurate digital tachograph records.
Drivers must drive as per clients professional standards which you will be coached and trained on
Ability to manage your Working Time Directive, and Driving Hours rules and Regulations in order to meet compliance expectations, and avoid infringement
Acting as a professional face of the brand when arriving at stores

Shifts :

Monday to Saturday
Available start times : 02:00 , 12:00, 22:00 (various)
Part Time & Full Time Opportunity

Pay Rates - Please note the below includes your advanced holiday pay

Day Shift : £20.17ph

Night Shift : £21.29ph

Weekend : £22.41ph - £24.65ph

Class 1 Driver Requirements

Valid UK Driver Cards (Driving Licence, CPC and DIGI Cards)
Minimum 1 year Class 1 licence + 12 months Class 1 driving experience
Previous experience in store deliveries would be preferred, but is not essential
Max 6 penalty points accepted for minor offences (no DR or DD offences)
Availability to work weekends is essential for this 24/7 operation
Will have the ability to demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills, as well as an attention to detail
