Class 2 Day Driver – Immediate Start

We are recruiting experienced Class 2 (Category

C) Drivers to join a busy brewery distribution operation based in Bedford. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and professional drivers looking for ongoing work with a genuine temp to perm pathway for the right candidates.

Working as part of a two-person crew, you will deliver beer, kegs, casks and other brewery products to pubs, bars, restaurants and licensed premises across the region. This is a physically demanding, customer-facing role involving multi-drop deliveries and manual handling.

Key Responsibilities

* Complete daily vehicle safety checks before leaving the depot

* Carry out multi-drop deliveries to customers safely and efficiently

* Work alongside a Driver's Mate to unload kegs, casks and packaged products

* Collect empty kegs, returns and reusable containers where required

* Ensure all delivery paperwork is completed accurately

* Deliver excellent customer service at every stop

* Comply with Driver Hours, Working Time Directive and Tachograph regulations

* Report vehicle defects, delivery issues or incidents promptly

* Follow all Health & Safety procedures and company policies

Requirements

* Valid Class 2 (Category

C) licence

* Valid Driver CPC qualification

* Digital Tachograph Card

* Previous Class 2 multi-drop experience is preferred but not essential

* Physically fit and comfortable with heavy manual handling

* Reliable, punctual and safety conscious

* Strong communication and customer service skills
