HGV Class 1 Driver

Our client, a major company based in Bedford, is looking for experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join their team on an ongoing basis. Both day and night trunking shifts are available.

• Carry out HGV Class 1 trunking work safely and efficiently.
• Complete scheduled trunking runs between designated locations.
• Conduct daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects promptly.
• Ensure all journeys are completed in accordance with company procedures and legal requirements.
• Complete relevant delivery and vehicle documentation accurately.
• Comply with drivers' hours, tachograph and road safety regulations.
• Maintain professional communication with depot staff, customers and other road users.
• Work independently while maintaining high standards of safety and reliability.
• Follow all company health and safety procedures.

Various day and night shift patterns available.

Ongoing work with potential for permanent employment.

Weekend overtime available if desired.

Weekends paid at a higher rate.
