Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Overtime:
Paid at 1.5x the normal hourly rate

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join a busy operation in Bedford on a temp-to-permanent basis.

This is a great opportunity for someone with previous warehouse and team leadership experience who is looking to take the next step in their career and secure a permanent position.

As a Warehouse Team Leader, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day warehouse operation and helping to ensure the team works safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and supporting a team of warehouse operatives
• Allocating daily workloads and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently
• Monitoring productivity, quality and performance
• Supporting the smooth running of day-to-day warehouse operations
• Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed
• Training, supporting and motivating team members
• Assisting with general warehouse duties when required
• Reporting any operational issues to management
• Helping maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment

• Previous warehouse team leader, supervisor or similar experience
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Ability to lead, motivate and support a team
• A proactive and reliable approach to work
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• FLT experience/licence is advantageous but not essential

• Temp-to-permanent opportunity
• Monday to Friday working hours
• £16.00 per hour
• Overtime paid at 1.5x
• 22 days' annual leave on permanent contract
• Holiday entitlement increases by 1 additional day per year served, up to 3 additional days
