We are currently searching for a Team Manager to join the team in our Distribution Centre in Bedford.
The Shift Pattern available is:
Weekend Nights
This is a hands-on leadership role, where you will take responsibility for a team of colleagues and lead them to deliver a fast, accurate and efficient service in our warehouse. You will be reporting directly to the Shift Manager.
This role is offered on a full time, permanent basis. You will be given full, inhouse training on our internal systems, but you must have previous experience working in a warehouse environment.
What You’ll Be Doing- Leading, motivating and supporting your team to deliver high service levels
- Managing your section in terms of KPI’s
- Maintaining high standards across the Distribution Centre, especially with Health and Safety
- Conducting development reviews and providing advice to colleagues where appropriate
- Planning and managing staff training, conducting interviews and investigations where required.
- Previous experience of working in a warehouse environment
- Proven ability to build positive, professional relationships with colleagues
- A drive to achieve and exceed KPI’s
- Excellent communication, organisation and planning skills
- A “Can do” attitude, no task is too big, or too small
