Science Teacher

The role

A well-established secondary school is seeking a Science Teacher to join its supportive and structured department. The school welcomes specialists in Biology, Chemistry or Physics
, with teaching across KS3 and KS4, and potential KS5 for the right candidate.

This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who can deliver clear, engaging lessons and support pupils in achieving strong outcomes across the sciences.

Northumberland | 11–18 Secondary School with Sixth Form
£163 – £265.92 per day | PAYE | Dependent on experience

• 11–18 setting with sixth form provision
• Strong emphasis on academic progress and subject expertise
• Well-equipped science labs and resources
• Consistent behaviour systems in place
• Collaborative and supportive leadership team

• Deliver Science across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
• Plan practical and theory-based lessons effectively
  
  Differentiate to meet varying ability levels
• Track and monitor pupil progress

• QTS (or equivalent)
• Specialism in Biology, Chemistry or Physics
• Confident in managing practical lessons safely
• Strong classroom management and communication skills

• PAYE only – no umbrella companies

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
