Position: Accountant (Full Set  | 5 days | up to $4000] - LCYL

Accountant (6 months contract)

5 days, 8.30am- 5.50pm

Salary: $3800- $4000+/-

Bedok South Ave 1, Singapore 469332

Reports to Finance Director

Job scope:

  • Full Set of Accounts
    (Only for one Singapore entity. The candidate will be using Excel, SAP and Workbench)
  • Responsible for managing and preparing the complete set of accounts for the holding company, including:

    • General Ledger:
      Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger records.
    • Accounts Payable:

      Prepare payment vouchers and process payments. Match and post purchase invoices and payments, including reconciliation. Liaise with vendors and internal departments to resolve invoice discrepancies. Update daily cash book.
    • Accounts Receivable:

      Issue invoices and debit notes and record accounts receivable receipts. Follow up with internal departments on outstanding balances. Prepare and maintain Accounts Receivable schedules.
  • Reconciliations
    Perform monthly bank reconciliations. Perform reconciliations and confirmation of intercompany accounts to ensure accuracy and consistency across entities.
  • Financial Reporting
    Prepare balance sheet and profit and loss schedules to support financial statement preparation. Perform simple consolidation of group entities’ financials.
  • Petty Cash Management
    :
    Manage petty cash transactions.
  • GST Reporting
    :
    Prepare and submit GST reports in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Year-End Audit Support
    :
    Prepare necessary schedules for the year-end audit.
  • Tax Reporting Support
    :
    Provide support in addressing tax-related inquiries.
  • Government Surveys
    :
    Prepare and submit government statistical surveys as required.
  • Ad Hoc Duties
    :
    Perform additional duties as required.
  • Requirements:

    • At least a Professional Certificate/Diploma/Degree, Finance/Accountancy or equivalent.
    • At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
    • Candidates must have experience handling multi-currencies and accounting for exchange conversions.
    • Proficiency in common ERP software and desktop applications, including Microsoft Office.
