Robotics Teaching Assistant

Overview

Temasek Primary School — Contract position with the following terms: contract period from 1 January 2027 to 31 December 2027. Working hours are Mondays to Fridays, 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., inclusive of a 45-minute lunch break. Service is not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays.

• MOE-registered
• Possess at least one year of related experience in coaching Robotics to children and adults
• Possess experience in coaching Robotics to children for robotics competitions
• Competent in robotics-related fields
• Certified in building-blocks

• Overall in-charge of robotics asset inventory, stock-take, loaning and returning
• Overall in-charge of Innovation Studio
• Provide robotics expertise through sharings, trainings and lessons to staff and students and handhold them
• Prepare the necessary robotics materials for robotics lessons, slides and handouts for staff and students
• Prepare, guide and accompany students for external competitions
• Proactively scan the market for new robotics tools that support teaching and learning
• Liaise with robotics vendors when necessary
• Report the progress and outcome of assigned tasks to the Head of Department (HOD) Science
• Perform any other ad hoc duties provided by HOD Science, such as video/photo editing when required
