Process Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize processes for new packaging technology of SAW products
• Design statistical experiments and analyze results to optimize packaging architecture and/or process conditions
• Define package requirements for new technology and customer requirements
• Drive new technology transfer between development and production lines
• Develop recommendations according to the nature of the new package technology, process, materials and tools/machine qualification and characterization
• Support Process Engineering to improve process quality and yield of technologies released to manufacturing
• Responsibilities may include documentation management and an understanding of good manufacturing practices (GMPs)

• Degree in engineering or its equivalent with minimum 2–3 years work experience
• Strong aptitude for research and development and excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to develop and maintain relations with multi-functional teams and vendors
• Proficient in statistical data analysis, Design of Experiments (DOE) and comfortable with analysis software tools
• Highly motivated and adaptable to a demanding, dynamic and rapidly changing work environment; flexible attitude for sudden changes in work assignment
• Development or Process engineering background, especially in wafer-level bumping and backgrinding processes, will be an advantage
