Walgreens - Full-time, Health Care Provider

$16.00/hr – $18.00/hr

• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Register sales on assigned cash register and provide customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
• Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive experience.
• Model and share customer service best practices with all team members, including interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits.
• Develop strong relationships with most valuable customers.
• Register customer purchases on assigned cash register, collect cash, distribute change, process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges.
• Recommend items for sale to customers, including trade‑up and companion items, assist with OTC products, and guide customers to aisle when possible.
• Operate pharmacy systems to obtain patient prescription status; report prescription errors to pharmacist on duty.
• Keep counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, take inventory, and maintain records.
• Implement company asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss.
• Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products.
• Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise; complete resets and revisions as directed.
• Have working knowledge of store systems and equipment.
• Assist with exterior and interior maintenance to ensure clean, neat, orderly store condition.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures; maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.
• Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.

• Attend training and complete PPLs requested by Manager or assigned by corporate.

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.

• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
