Job Description: The Distance Education department is seeking (1) Federal Work Study student at 12 hours per week for the Spring 2026 term.
Duties include:
produce content in alternate media formats; prepare requested materials related to course documents for use in Canvas; update courses with alt text and closed captions, as well as other curriculum content application updates; and assist with HTML code in Canvas as needed for standard compliance.
Required Qualifications: Completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is required. Excellent computer skills; the ability to troubleshoot basic hardware and software programs and quickly grasp new technologies; basic maintenance of educational equipment; basic office methods, practices, and procedures.
Minimum Salary or Salary Range: $11.00 per hour

In cases where pre-determined, an additional financial/credit history/ background check may be required as well. Convictions that have been sealed or legally eradicated and misdemeanor convictions for which probation was completed and the case was dismissed, will be excluded.
