Job Description
MATH & SCIENCE DIVISION FACULTY/INTERNAL APPLICANTS ONLY
Duties & Responsibilities Academics is seeking internally among the Math & Science Division Faculty, a member who enlists support from allied health program faculty to coordinate the activities of all Allied Health programs.
Responsibilities include:
- In coordination with the Division Dean, developing new Allied Health programs and curriculum.
- Providing support for assessment, accreditation reporting and site visits for allied health programs.
- Coordinating recruiting activities among all allied health programs. Participating in all open registration events and high school preview days. Working in concert with ASU-Beebe marketing and public relations to promote allied health programming.
- Assisting in the recruitment and onboarding of faculty.
- Supporting professional development of faculty.
- Serving on the advisory boards for the allied health programs.
- Serving as Banner liaison to faculty and having “administrator access” specific to Banner functions associated with advising and course scheduling.
- Serving on Curriculum Committee.
- Coordinating faculty review and updating of Course Philosophies annually.
- Other relevant duties to support allied health programming as assigned by the Division Dean.
This position is an “extra duties” assignment, carrying an $8000 annual stipend, on top of the faculty member’s regular teaching contract and responsibilities. It also comes with one course release per semester.
