Institutional Work Study - Assistant for Faculty

Inside Higher Ed is seeking an Institutional Work Study student to work 10 hours per week for the Fall 2025 & Spring 2026 terms in the Math Department.

Duties include:

• Assist faculty with preparing class materials, grading papers, making copies, running errands, restocking copier paper, cleaning tables.
• Assist with course accessibility tasks, such as adding alt text and formatting materials, and other duties as assigned.

• Dependable and responsible.
• Available several days per week.
• Comfortable using technology (basic computer usage).
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to follow instructions, work independently, maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
• Integrity is a must.

$11.00 per hour

This position will be subject to a pre-employment criminal, sex-offender registry background check. In cases where pre-determined, an additional financial/credit history/background check may be required as well. Convictions that have been sealed or legally eradicated and misdemeanor convictions for which probation was completed and the case was dismissed will be excluded. Disclosure does not constitute an automatic bar to employment.
