Must Hold a Valid Indiana Teaching License or Be Working Toward Licensure

Job Goal

To work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and families in order to promote the educational, social, emotional, and physical development and achievement of students.

Performance Responsibilities

Classroom teacher responsibilities differentiated for high ability and at-risk learners including, but not limited to: lesson planning, curriculum development, instruction, maintaining grades, developing relationships with students, and communicating with parents.

Implement PBIS, Calm Classroom techniques and Community Circles with fidelity.

Collect and analyze individual and program-wide student data.

Collaborate with colleagues through weekly professional development activities in assessing, selecting, and implementing effective research-based student strategies.

Other duties related to meeting the needs of students, as assigned.

1. Seldom = Less than 25 %

2. Occasional = 26 to 50 %

3. Often = 51 to 75 %

4. Very Frequent = 76 % and above

Ability to stand for extended periods of time. (4)

Ability to work at a desk, conference table or in meetings of various configurations. (4)
Ability to see for the purpose of reading laws and codes, rules and policies and other printed matter. (4)

Ability to operate office equipment. (4)
