Substitute - Custodial​/Maintenance

Base Pay Range

$13.50/hr - $90.00/hr

• On call basis as assigned.
• Applicant selects the campus of their choice.
• Must be fingerprinted through the State Board of Education ($50.00);
  Ms. Velasco will assist you with this process.
• New substitute teachers must complete the 8 hour ONLINE training ($34.00);
  Ms. Velasco will assist with the app.garden website information.
• Previous substitutes or certified teachers must complete the 3 hour ONLINE training ($19.00).

• High School Diploma, GED or Associate's Degree: earn $90.00 for a full day and $45.00 for a half day.
• Bachelor's/Master's Degree or Teacher Certification: earn $100.00 for a full day and $50.00 for a half day.
• Child Nutrition, Custodial Maintenance and Transportation substitutes: earn $13.50 hourly and must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Driver's License, social security card, proof of education (GED/High School Diploma or college transcript). Direct deposit information such as a voided check or approved deposit letter from your bank. Beeville ISD pay days are on the 15th and 30th of every month.
