Mining, Engineer, Mine; Geotechnical

De Beers Group is seeking Geotechnical Engineers for a fixed-term contract at the renowned Gahcho Kué Mine in the Northwest Territories. • FIFO (Fly-In Fly-Out) rotation: two weeks in/two weeks out

• Legally permitted to work in Canada
• Geotechnical Engineering degree
• Professional Engineering designation, or eligibility to register as a Professional Engineer in the Northwest Territories
• Minimum three years of relevant mining experience from an open pit mining environment (preferred)
• Experience with geotechnical software (Deswik, Rocscience, Remining, Maptek) preferred
• Strong geotechnical skills and principles in rock mechanics
• Experience with geotechnical pit slope monitoring instrumentation (Groundprobe; Navstar)
• Ability to manage and communicate in a dynamic, safety-prioritized environment
• Ability to simplify complex datasets and present them to stakeholders
• Willingness to work in a remote camp setting
• Successful completion of background screening, including criminal check and validation of qualifications

• Experience with geotechnical software (Deswik, Rocscience, Remining, Maptek)
• Minimum three years of relevant mining experience from an open pit mining environment
