An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, knowledgeable and committed Head of Business to join a leading British international school in Beijing, China.
The successful candidate will lead the Business department, inspiring students to develop a strong understanding of business principles, entrepreneurship, economics and the commercial world. The role offers an excellent opportunity for an ambitious educator to provide academic leadership, drive curriculum development and promote outstanding teaching and learning across the department.
Working collaboratively with colleagues and the wider school community, the Head of Business will foster a stimulating learning environment in which students develop analytical thinking, problem-solving, financial literacy and the entrepreneurial mindset needed to succeed in an increasingly globalised economy.
Position Requirements
Bachelor,
5+ Years
work experience Qualifications and Experience
- A relevant degree in Business, Economics, Business Management or a related discipline.
- A recognised teaching qualification, such as PGCE, QTS or an equivalent qualification.
- Significant experience teaching Business at secondary level, preferably including GCSE and A Level.
- Previous experience in departmental leadership or a demonstrated readiness to take on a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of curriculum planning, assessment and strategies for improving student progress and achievement.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding, student wellbeing and inclusive educational practice.
