Costing Supervisor

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee and monitor cost accounting processes to ensure compliance with accounting and cost accounting standards.
• Review cost accounting reports and portfolio analyses to identify improvement opportunities and operational inefficiencies.
• Analyze process losses and cost variances, providing recommendations to improve financial performance.
• Monitor cost accounting standardization and recommend enhancements where necessary.
• Review daily inventory transactions, including raw materials, finished goods, and spare parts, ensuring proper classification and recording.
• Maintain inventory records and oversee stocktaking activities to ensure data accuracy and inventory integrity.
• Ensure inventory‑related financial data is accurately reflected in accounting and reporting systems.
• Collaborate with the Development team to prepare and communicate Cost Break Downs (CBDs) to customers.
• Manage tooling amortization records and related costing information.
• Prepare periodic reports for internal stakeholders and customer‑specific reporting requirements.
• Identify and resolve issues that may significantly impact financial statements or costing accuracy.
• Develop and improve automated and integrated accounting and costing processes.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to financial systems, reporting, and information management.
• Provide guidance and training on Winline system transactions, reporting, and reconciliation processes.
• Support team members and other departments in improving business processes and data management practices.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in Accounting, Cost Accounting, or Financial Controlling, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

  Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong knowledge of ERP systems.
• Cost Accounting Knowledge: Strong understanding of cost accounting principles, inventory accounting, financial reporting, and cost analysis.
