The Admissions Assistant supports the Admission supervisor to represent the face/PR of internal SVP. It’s a crucial team member and drives enrolments to reach or exceed target numbers.
Manages the admissions procedures, ensuring all students are registered in accordance with Sekolah Victory Plus and regulatory policies.
Supports the school’s Marketing Communication Events.
The RoleThe main role of Admissions Assistant is to make sure the selling & closing is successfully done and achieve the enrollment target.
Responsibilities- Accountable for driving enrolments under the supervision of the Admissions Supervisor in order to meet or exceed targets.
- Presenting a positive impression of the school in all interactions with families, whether by chat, telephone, face to face or in writing. Be the key point of contact for prospective parents from first contact with the school until the student’s first day.
- Support Admissions supervisor to maintain good relationship in offline and online with existing parents, PSG, Student Council & Alumni attending all the meetings as required.
- Conduct school tours, as required, for prospective families which effectively sell the school, promoting the school’s academic and non-academic achievements.
- Arrange assessment including those from overseas in liaison with relevant principal and learning support staff.
- Arrange all placement tests or interviews for new entrants to school and collate results.
- Arrange the placement of students in classes with the approval of divisional principal.
- Arrange any in-class trials coordinating with the divisional principals.
- Liaise with the Accounting Department to issue invoices for new students and ensure that all data is current on the school system.
- Manage the initial induction of new families and students, including answering all questions in a professional and timely manner, providing support and advice.
- Keep on track on the latest school news and information.
- Ensure all leads are followed up within 48 hours and allocated to a particular team member.
- Update to the admission supervisor at the end of each day to obtain an update of the where they are at with each lead and enrolment candidate.
- Ensure all SVP new parents understand about school programme, philosophies, etc.
- Support the Admissions Supervisor in the development of the school’s alumni and PSG event.
- Accommodate and deliver concern from existing and prospective parents.
- Support PIC for Students uniform purchase.
- Provide and publicize a schedule to ensure the admissions office is open from 7.00am until 4.30pm daily and 7.30am until 2pm on Saturdays and other times as directed by the Admissions Supervisor.
- Be open to flexible working hours.
- All applicants must hold a minimum Diploma (D3) qualification from any Department.
- Willingness to grow and develop to become an outstanding staff.
- High level of technology skills.
