We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager to lead the integrated commissioning programme for all critical systems across the Data Center in Indonesia. This role oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of commissioning activities from pre-commissioning through to integrated system testing (IST), ready for service (RFS) declaration, and handover. The Commissioning Manager ensures all mechanical, electrical, cooling, and ELV systems perform as specified prior to client acceptance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Develop and manage the commissioning plan, including phasing, resource requirements, and test schedules.
- Lead pre-commissioning, functional testing, integrated testing (IST), and acceptance testing activities.
- Coordinate with MEP contractors, OEMs, and specialist vendors to execute commissioning test procedures.
- Prepare, review, and approve commissioning procedures, test scripts, and acceptance criteria.
- Manage commissioning documentation including punch lists, test records, and certificates of completion.
- Interface with the construction team to ensure systems are ready for commissioning handover.
- Track commissioning progress against the RFS milestone schedule and report to the Programme Director.
- Manage defects identified during commissioning and ensure timely resolution prior to handover.
- Coordinate with the client's operations team for operational readiness and training activities.
- Ensure commissioning activities comply with Data Center standards (e.g., Uptime Institute, TIA-942) and Indonesian regulations.
- Minimum 10 years in MEP commissioning, with at least 5 years on mission-critical or Data Center projects.
- In-depth knowledge of Data Center critical systems: UPS, generators, AHUs, chillers, HV/LV power, BMS, and ELV.
- Proven ability to develop and manage complex commissioning programmes to tight schedules.
- Experience with Uptime Institute, TIA-942, or equivalent Data Center commissioning standards.
- Strong technical writing skills for procedures, test scripts, and handover documentation.
- Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Chartered Engineer (PII or IET equivalent) preferred.
- Familiarity with Indonesian electrical standards and PLN grid connection requirements
