Nurse Operating Theatre
- Responsible for carrying out patient nursing services/care in the Operating Theater unit
- Preparing facilities to ensure smooth service delivery and facilitate patients/families in receiving services, by: arranging room security and comfort, checking and ensuring all necessary equipment functions properly, and ensuring medicines and other required medical equipment are available and ready for use.
- Providing nursing care using nursing practice standards:
Performing emergency medical/nursing actions according to the patient's primary health issues. Observing and monitoring the patient's health condition (general status: physical, psychological, vital signs, and main complaints) during and immediately after the procedure. - Assisting patients before and during procedures by doctors, including: preparing patients physically and psychologically, calming patients, arranging patient positions, and ensuring patient and family comfort and security during the procedure.
- Preparing patients post-procedure, including administrative needs such as: home care instructions, medical certificates, referral letters if necessary, and prescriptions for home use. Providing health education to patients/families as needed.
- Implementing and maintaining nursing care recording and reporting systems to ensure accurate information and communication systems.
- Implementing procedures and practices for quality and safety services, including training, to support the achievement of hospital-wide indicators and department/unit goals.
- Diploma (D3) Degree from Nursing
- Have minimum 1 year work experience as a Level I Clinical Nurse.
- Diploma (D3) Degree from Nursing
- Have minimum 1 year work experience as a Level I Clinical Nurse.
