Laboratory Technician

Uraian Pekerjaan

• Carrying out laboratory examinations related to hematology, chemistry, serology, urine, feces and body fluids in accordance with predetermined procedures and service standards to support a doctor’s diagnosis.
• Carrying out hematology, chemistry, serology, urine, feces and body fluid examinations in accordance with predetermined SOPs and entering data into the system to ensure availability of complete and timely examination data.
• Data entry and data release of hematology, chemistry, serology, urine, feces and body fluid examination results as needed, using a computer or manually, ensuring availability of complete and timely data.
• Prioritizing reporting of CITO, CCU examination results and results related to patients’ critical condition to convey them as quickly as possible to doctors or nurses.
• Recording usage and making requests for equipment, carrying out preventive maintenance activities to maintain availability, cleanliness and maintenance of equipment used in hematology, chemistry, serology, urine, feces and body fluid examination services.
• Recording and organizing storage of hematology, chemistry, serology, urine, feces and body fluid examination results to maintain completeness and availability according to doctors and patients needs.
• Recording and organizing the procurement/receipt/use of reagents to ensure smoothness and continuity of related services.
• Collecting required data and/or making reports related to operational activities as a responsibility to superiors.
• Implementing procedures and practices for quality and safety services, including attending training, collecting data, documenting and/or making reports needed to support the achievement of hospital-wide indicators and related department/unit targets.

• Minimum Vocational High School Graduate from Health Analyst.
• Experience in a clinical or hospital laboratory setting is preferred.
• Proficiency in performing laboratory tests and operating laboratory equipment.
• Ability to analyze test results and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with patients and healthcare professionals.
