Kandidat mempersiapkan alat uji, melakukan pengujian pada bahan baku dan barang produksi, serta memberikan rekomendasi pemrosesan ulang untuk produk yang ditolak. Selain itu, peran ini mencakup pengawasan gudang harian dan penyusunan laporan rutin.
