Are you a dedicated OB Hospitalist looking for a rewarding opportunity to provide exceptional care in a dynamic hospital setting? We are seeking a highly qualified locum physician to join our team in Bel Air, MD, offering flexible weekend shifts starting December 31, 2025. Required Skills:
- Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Valid Medical License to practice in Maryland
- Board Certification or Eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB-GYN)
- Proven experience in OB hospitalist services or inpatient obstetric care
- Strong clinical skills with the ability to respond swiftly to emergent situations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams and patients
- Ability to work independently and handle high-pressure scenarios
Skills:
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Experience in high-volume maternity units
- Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations
- Additional certifications such as Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) or Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Education and Experience:
- Graduate of an accredited medical school with specialized training in obstetrics and gynecology
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as an OB hospitalist or in a similar inpatient obstetric environment
- Prior locum or temporary staffing experience is advantageous but not mandatory
- Possession of or eligibility for a Maryland medical license and hospital privileges
- Ability to work weekends consistently, specifically on call for Saturday and Sunday shifts
- Compliance with all hospital credentialing and vaccination requirements
- Willingness to travel if necessary; reimbursement for licensure, certification, travel, and related expenses will be provided
