We are seeking a highly qualified locum physician to join our team in Bel Air, MD, offering flexible weekend shifts starting December 31, 2025. Required Skills:

• Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Valid Medical License to practice in Maryland
• Board Certification or Eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB-GYN)
• Proven experience in OB hospitalist services or inpatient obstetric care
• Strong clinical skills with the ability to respond swiftly to emergent situations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams and patients
• Ability to work independently and handle high-pressure scenarios

Nice to Have

Skills:

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Experience in high-volume maternity units
• Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations
• Additional certifications such as Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) or Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

Preferred

Education and Experience:

• Graduate of an accredited medical school with specialized training in obstetrics and gynecology
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as an OB hospitalist or in a similar inpatient obstetric environment
• Prior locum or temporary staffing experience is advantageous but not mandatory

Other Requirements:

• Possession of or eligibility for a Maryland medical license and hospital privileges
• Ability to work weekends consistently, specifically on call for Saturday and Sunday shifts
• Compliance with all hospital credentialing and vaccination requirements
• Willingness to travel if necessary; reimbursement for licensure, certification, travel, and related expenses will be provided
