Job DescriptionHarford Community College is seeking qualified middle/high school instructors for our Summer Youth Camps. Camp season begins on June 22, 2026, and continues through August 14, 2026.
- Planning and implementing camp curriculum.
- Coordinating daily operations and safety procedures.
- Maintaining supply inventory.
- Communicating effectively with campers, staff, and parents/guardians.
- Performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Instructors are required to attend employee training scheduled for the week of June 8th. Instructors are not required to be available for all camp weeks.
Employees must be residents of Maryland or the contiguous states of Delaware, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, or the District of Columbia.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States, as the College does not offer Visa sponsorship for this position.

Counselor in Training Leadership Program, SFX Makeup and Painting Mediums, Basics of Drawing - Week 8:
Counselor in Training Leadership Program, Programming
Bachelor's degree or certification in the appropriate field.
Required ExperienceOne year of teaching, childcare, camp, or coaching experience.
Required Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesAbility to successfully pass an FBI, MD, and CJIS background screening.
Preferred QualificationsOne year of summer camp experience.
General Weekly Work ScheduleHalf‑day camp operating hours are 8:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Full‑day camp operating hours are 8:45 a.m. to 4:15 p.m., Monday through Friday, one‑hour duty free lunch break.
