Job DescriptionWe are seeking qualified adjunct faculty members to teach on-campus, online, and/or hybrid classes in the following subjects:
- Anthropology
- Criminal Justice
- Economics
- Exercise Science
- Geography
- Paralegal Studies
- Political Science
- Psychology
- Sociology / Social Work
- Health & Physical Education
- Teacher Education
Special assignment: 3-credit Exercise Science Internship. Candidates must be available for day, night, and potential weekends, and possess a Master's in Kinesiology or a Master's in Human Performance. This assignment is paid at the Independent Study Rate.
Employees, including instructors for online and virtual courses, must be residents of Maryland or the contiguous states of Delaware, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, or the District of Columbia. Work is generally performed on the College campus unless otherwise specified.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States, as the College does not offer visa sponsorship for this position.

If you apply on or after November of the current year, your application will remain active until December 31 of the following calendar year.
Required EducationA master's degree in the subject or a closely related subject. A Bachelor's degree and industry experience may be considered for some areas of study.
A Master's in Kinesiology or a Master's in Human Performance is required for the Exercise Science Internship.
Required ExperienceOne year of prior teaching experience.
Required Knowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesSkills specific to the discipline.
Strong communication skills.
Preferred QualificationsPrior experience using a Learning Management System (LMS). Past experience with classroom technology.
Prior teaching experience preferred.
Professional experience in the discipline a plus.
General Weekly Work ScheduleSchedule varies per assignment.
