Starting Salary
: $1,115.73 per lecture credit hour; $836.80 per lab credit hour

Harford Community College is seeking qualified adjunct faculty members to teach on‑campus, online, and/or hybrid classes in the following subjects:

• World Languages
• History
• Philosophy
• Religion

• Develop and deliver course content for assigned courses.
• Maintain consistent communication with students, faculty, and department staff.
• Use current instructional technology and Learning Management Systems (LMS) to enhance learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support program goals and student success.

• A Master's degree in the subject or a closely related field.
• Must be a resident of Maryland or one of the contiguous states (Delaware, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, or the District of Columbia).
• Authorization to work in the United States (no Visa sponsorship).
• Prior teaching experience preferred; professional experience in the discipline is a plus.
• Experience with an LMS and classroom technology.

• Prior teaching as part‑time or adjunct faculty.
• Experience teaching online, including completion of required online training modules.
• Available to teach during daytime, evenings, weekends, and throughout the academic calendar.
