Inpatient Diabetes & Glycemic Management (Non-ICU) Hospital-Based | Maryland | Block Schedule
Gly Care is a hospital-based group practice specializing in inpatient diabetes and glycemic management. Our Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants deliver protocol-driven, evidence-based care to hospitalized adults on Med‑Surg and Step‑Down units (non‑ICU), with endocrinology support.
This role is ideal for clinicians seeking a stable, hospital-based position with predictable scheduling, strong clinical support, and opportunities to grow in a high-demand specialty.

- Full‑Time:
Mon–Wed + every other weekend OR Wed–Fri + opposite weekends (52 fewer days than a Mon‑Fri schedule) - Part‑Time: ~12 shifts/month with full benefits

- Inpatient experience required (practice, rotations, or inpatient RN background)

- DEA license not required
- Minimum 1-year contract commitment
- UMMS Baltimore Washington Medical Center – Glen Burnie, MD
- UMMS Upper Chesapeake – Bel Air, MD
- UMMS Capital Region – Largo, MD
- Provide consultative inpatient diabetes and glycemic management (non-ICU)
- Independently round using established, protocol-driven care models
- Manage an average daily census of ~25 patients (higher census up to 28–35)
- Participate in rotating phone-only after-hours call (approximately 2–3 times per month)
