R. Brooks Mechanical is seeking a highly skilled Lead Commercial HVAC Install Mechanic to join our installation team. This individual will lead job sites and ensure timely and high-quality installations of commercial HVAC systems. • Install commercial HVAC equipment: RTUs, split systems, VAVs, VRFs, equipment retrofit, replacement, and new construction
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Lead and assist in ductwork layout and installation
• Perform piping layout and installation: brazing, soldering, threading, prepress
• Operate hand/power tools, recovery machines, vacuum pumps, and testing equipment
• Ensure compliance with OSHA safety protocols, including lockout/tagout, confined space, and ladder safety procedures

• 5+ years of commercial HVAC install experience, preferably in a lead role
• EPA 608 Certification (required)
• OSHA 10 or 30 Certification (preferred)
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• HVAC trade school or equivalent vocational training (preferred)
• Must live within 30 minutes of Rising Sun, MD (preferred)
