Certified Nursing Assistant

The Center for Human Development (CHD) is seeking a CNA Certified Direct Care Staff to join our team in Belchertown, MA. We provide direct care services within a Medical Group Living Environment.

Your role as a CNA Certified Direct Care Staff:

As a CNA Certified Direct Care Staff, you will provide direct care services in an intensive clinical group living environment that serves five clients with complex mental health-related needs. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Teaching ADL skills as needed to the individual served.
• Crisis intervention
• Medication administration
• Teaching independent living skills by implementing community service plans

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or higher
• Hold current CNA certification
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, and proficiency with computers
• Background screening including a CORI and motor vehicle record check
• Bilingual skills are preferred but not required
• Ability to obtain MAP certification to maintain employment

Pay rate is $20.00/hr., with benefits including dental, health, and life insurance. Paid time off, earned vacation, and paid holidays are also provided.
