The Technician (PLC) reports to the Technical Services Manager – Belen and is responsible for troubleshooting, upgrading existing equipment along with design and implementation. Hands‑on installation of production equipment and hardware design.

• Troubleshoot and upgrade existing equipment to new equipment design & implementation.
• Perform hands‑on installation support for new or modified production equipment.
• Implement machine control knowledge and understand classical control theory.
• Operate Fluke Meters and other electronic test equipment.
• Elaborate electrical schematic drawings using AutoCAD and AutoCAD electrical.
• Develop SCADA knowledge:
  Ignition, Python and LabVIEW.

• High school diploma or equivalent required with bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of engineering experience with direct PLC programming required.
• PLC programming experience required.
• HMI development with RSview
  32, FTview & C‑more panels.
• Hardware design experience with PCL/VFD wiring diagrams.
• Experience with Rockwell Control Logix & Micrologix.
• Experience with Koyo PLC programming.
• Industrial network protocol knowledge with Ethernet I/P, Device
  
  NET, Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP.
• Motion control knowledge with servo, stepper, DC, AC drives.
• Serial communication knowledge with RS232 / 485.
