The position requires responsible experience in various police functions, including supervisory duties at the command level, equivalent to a supervisory position with the City of Rio Communities or other agencies. Other requirements include an NMLEA Certification, U.S. Citizenship, and a valid New Mexico Class D driver’s license. Candidates must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
