Arcosa Wind Towers is looking for a Quality Inspector
. As a Quality Inspector
, you’ll perform all duties of an “A” level inspector. Make visual and measured inspection of structural components to ensure conformance with standards. Verify specified dimensions, strengths and other quality factors using measuring instruments and inspection equipment. Comply with all safety rules and procedures. Maintain and complete all required records.

Location:

Belen, NM

• Read drawings and blueprints
• Perform and oversee visual and measured inspections using various measurement instruments and inspection equipment
• Perform and oversee visual weld inspection
• Complete inspection records and reports
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Must be able to operate the following equipment: micrometer, gauges, calipers, tape lines, computer.
• 2 or 3 years of experience preferred
• Regular and predictable attendance is required
• Ability to function as a team member
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships.

• Work environment includes plant, warehouse, production and non-production areas and plant grounds.
• This position may require work/maintenance coverage beyond the normal hours, shift, and on weekends/holidays.
• Ability to tolerate both high and low temperatures, loud noises typical of a manufacturing plant.
• Overtime and Overtime on Saturdays, as needed.
• Schedule is subject to change.

• Know and follow all safety rules and procedures.
• Participate in safety committees and initiatives as assigned.
