Job Overview
Embark on a rewarding journey as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Long-Term Care, bringing compassionate, patient-centered care to residents who deserve dignity, comfort, and respect every day. In this role based in Belen, New Mexico, you’ll become a vital member of a dedicated care team, delivering hands‑on tending, daily living support, and skilled clinical interventions that enhance quality of life for our senior population.
Imagine the impact you can make by blending technical proficiency with genuine empathy—administering medications, conducting assessments, monitoring vitals, managing wound care, helping with mobility, and collaborating with physicians, social workers, and family members to craft care plans that honor each person’s preferences and history. This opportunity isn’t just a job; it’s a chance to grow as a healthcare professional while strengthening the fabric of a close‑knit community.
While you focus on delivering top‑tier LTC services, you’ll also have the chance to explore the beautiful landscapes of New Mexico, from its rugged mountains and tranquil deserts to vibrant local cultures and historic towns. And for those who crave variety, the role offers the option to serve across diverse locations in the United States, expanding your experience and professional network while maintaining a stable, purpose‑driven career.
Benefits
Belen sits in the heart of New Mexico’s scenic Rio Grande Valley, offering a welcoming, family‑friendly atmosphere with a lower cost of living and easy access to Albuquerque’s metropolitan amenities. Here you’ll find a supportive healthcare network, opportunities to collaborate with specialists, and a pace that honors both professional excellence and personal well‑being. The surrounding region invites outdoor enthusiasts to enjoy sunlit days and star‑filled evenings, with nearby parks, trails, and historic sites that showcase the state’s rich heritage.
Working in this location also provides you with the possibility of expanding to other areas across the U.S. through our national assignments, allowing you to experience different patient populations, facility cultures, and care models. Whether you prefer a steady, local rhythm or a recurring travel pattern that takes you to new towns, you’ll benefit from a company that values flexibility, cultural immersion, and steady professional development.
You’ll have access to resources that help you acclimate quickly and thrive—local orientation, ongoing clinical support, and a network of peers who share your commitment to compassionate long‑term care.
As a Long‑Term Care LPN, your responsibilities include performing comprehensive patient assessments, administering medications and treatments with accuracy, documenting care plans, and communicating changes in condition to the multidisciplinary team. You’ll support residents with activities of daily living, manage IVs and wound care under protocol, assist with nutrition and hydration plans, and participate in care conferences to ensure continuity and person‑centered care.
You’ll play a pivotal role in fall prevention, infection control, and safety measures, while promoting restorative practices and mobility to preserve independence. The position offers competitive weekly pay in the range of $842 to $880, with an initial start date of 01/05/2026 and an assignment length measured in weeks. While there are no guaranteed hours, you’ll have opportunities for extension based on performance, facility needs, and your preferred schedule.
We prioritize your professional growth through targeted training, mentorship from experienced LTC clinicians, and access to specialty certifications that align with your career goals. We also provide housing assistance to ease relocation logistics and create a comfortable living arrangement near your workplace, so you can focus on caring for residents. Additionally, we support extension opportunities that allow you to continue making an impact beyond the initial period, fostering continuity for residents and stability for you.
For traveling clinicians, 24/7 support is available as you move…
